Scattered and invisible
Old workplace pensions, a Lifetime ISA, legacy shares from a share-save scheme. Nobody has ever looked at the whole picture at once — so nobody knows your real exposure.
Daily Money Report is an independent finance and investment consultancy for UK professionals who already hold shares, funds and pensions — and suspect their money could be working considerably harder. Fee-based advice. No product commissions. Plain English.
Most UK investors over 30 aren't beginners. They're busy. They have three pensions from four jobs, a Stocks & Shares ISA they opened in a hurry, and a watchlist that quietly became a strategy. Sound familiar?
Old workplace pensions, a Lifetime ISA, legacy shares from a share-save scheme. Nobody has ever looked at the whole picture at once — so nobody knows your real exposure.
A 1.4% all-in cost sounds trivial until you compound it over 25 years. On a £250,000 pot that's a six-figure difference — paid quietly, monthly, without a single invoice.
Three global trackers can still be 22% the same seven US companies. Most investors discover their real concentration risk at precisely the wrong moment.
Unused ISA allowance, un-harvested CGT, pension contributions that could have reclaimed higher-rate relief. Each April the window closes and doesn't come back.
The cost of waiting is not dramatic — it's gradual. There is no crash, no alert, no email. Just a slow drift between the portfolio you actually hold and the one your life in ten years' time requires. A structured review takes one afternoon and usually pays for itself before the next tax year.
We are consultants, not a platform and not a fund house. We earn nothing from where your money sits — which is exactly why our recommendations look different.
Every holding, wrapper and pension consolidated into one view — with the overlaps, costs and currency exposure you've never been shown.
The same assets, held in the right order across ISA, SIPP and general account. Asset location is the most reliably ignored free return in UK investing.
Volatility is only a problem if it makes you sell. We calibrate your allocation to your real behaviour and your real timeline — not a nine-question questionnaire.
Every client receives a dated, written report — not a verbal chat and a handshake. Positions, costs, actions, deadlines and the reasoning behind each recommendation, so you could hand it to any other adviser and have it stand up to scrutiny.

You'll know exactly what we think — and exactly what it costs — before any money or paperwork moves anywhere.
A 45-minute video or phone call. You describe where you are and what you're trying to protect or build. We tell you honestly whether we can add value.
45 min · freeYou share statements securely. We consolidate every wrapper, decode the look-through holdings and calculate your true all-in cost in pounds, not percentages.
5–7 working daysA dated report with findings, a prioritised action list, tax deadlines and modelled scenarios. We walk through it line by line in a second session.
Fixed fee, quoted upfrontDo it yourself with our checklist, or retain us to coordinate transfers and rebalancing. Quarterly reviews keep the plan honest as markets and rules change.
Ongoing, optionalReal reviews from UK clients. Names shortened and details generalised at their request; figures are their own and verified against statements at the time of review.
"I had four pensions and a vague feeling of dread. The report found £3,100 a year in platform and fund charges I didn't know I was paying, and showed me I was 26% exposed to a single sector. First time in a decade I've felt in control of it."
"What I valued most was being told what not to do. No product pitch, no insurance bolt-on. Just a sequencing plan for my ISA and SIPP and an honest conversation about how much risk I can genuinely stomach at 53."
"I pick my own stocks and wasn't looking to hand that over. They didn't ask me to. They fixed the structure around my trading — wrapper choice, CGT timing, position sizing — and left the stock picking to me. Exactly right."
"Three years of quarterly reviews now. The value isn't the spreadsheet — it's the phone call in March 2025 that stopped me selling everything. That single conversation was worth more than the fee twice over."
Daily Money Report Ltd was founded in 2016 in London by a small team from institutional research and private-client wealth management. We were tired of watching capable people pay for advice that was really distribution.
So we built the opposite: a consultancy paid only in fixed fees and retainers, with no product, no platform and no commission. Our only output is analysis you own outright. Today we work with engineers, clinicians, founders, senior public-sector staff and recent retirees across the UK — people who are competent with money and simply want a rigorous second pair of eyes.
Since incorporation, 2016–2026.
Forty-five minutes, no paperwork, no obligation and absolutely no sales pitch. You'll leave the call with at least two specific, actionable observations about your own money whether you work with us or not.
